Roof Garden

MSKTD provided all architectural design services for the G. Marlyne Sexton Family Serenity Garden. The garden is located on the third floor and accessible from the Women and Children’s Health Services wing. The project took an unappealing rooftop and transformed it into a wonderful sanctuary for patients, visitors and staff alike. The project was completed in late 2015, but opened in May of 2016 after allowing vegetative plantings to mature and grow. The roof Garden features:
- Wooden Pergola
- Ground-cover vegetation
- Quiet Seating Areas
- Japanese Maple and Evergreen Trees
- Chrome and Glass Screen-Wall
