“As the new President of MSKTD and a project architect, I do my best to manage the firm just like my projects. I also maintain client relationships, build new ones and encourage and mentor the staff on a day-to-day basis. I have a great time doing this kind of work - honestly, I cannot see myself doing anything else but working in the architecture profession.”

Gary co-leads MSKTD’s in-house higher education and academic group on projects ranging from renovation work to state-of-the-art new buildings on main and regional college and university campuses. He is also responsible for overseeing our K-thru-12 market.

Gary’s management style allows the project budget, scope, and schedule to facilitate the best design solution for our clients.

“Figuring out what our clients want or need and finding a way to meet and exceed those needs motivates me. That includes seeing the big picture, project management, design, communication, planning - and honesty.”

The built environment has always fascinated Brent, and he has continuously honed his architectural design and project management skills. By 1999, it was clear to him that he also has a substantial passion for production and industry. Now, as a leader of MSKTD and it’s Food/Advanced Manufacturing team, he helps our industrial clients achieve their goals, producing something substantial for the good of their business, the community, and our economy.

"As an Architect, my job, first and foremost, is to create highly functional and usable spaces for our clients. As a designer, my job is to bring a level of sophistication and elegance to the utilitarian qualities of those spaces, but in no way should the design get in the way of the ultimate purpose of the spaces."

As the senior principal in MSKTD’s Indianapolis office, Bob’s strength is in all phases of project development, from inception and programming, through construction administration and completion. His approach and philosophy are tried and true methods; coordinate and manage the design, schedule, and budget while keeping the Owner informed at all times.

As a LEED accredited professional, Bob is dedicated to assisting our clients in finding sustainable solutions that improve their built environment. He is well-versed in all Health Care codes and currently serves on several code committees including:

• NFPA 101 Life Safety Code Technical Committee on Health Care Occupancies (Chapters 18 – 21)
• 2012 Indiana Building Code Committee – AIA representative
• I-BEAM – Indiana Building Emergency Assessment & Monitoring Team

"I’m extremely proud of the in-house team Brent and I have developed. We’re a tight group – we work hard and we enjoy a challenge. This is a highly competitive industry – schedules are tight and confidentiality the standard. I can count on my team members to deliver the extra effort needed to exceed our clients needs."

Starting with a complete renovation of an existing Borden’s plant for Edy’s Grand Ice Cream in 1985, George has assembled an in-house team of professionals who have developed a wide range of design skills and expertise in food processing, biological research, clean rooms, engineering, distribution and logistics, medical manufacturing and training, as well as diverse advanced manufacturing facilities. His team routinely provides design and construction services for projects throughout the U.S., Europe and the Caribbean.

George has been a speaker at several industry forums and conferences, and three of his team’s projects have received “Food Processing Plant of the Year” national awards.

"Sir Winston Churchill said, 'We shape our buildings; thereafter, they shape us.' That's a heavy responsibility; buildings last a long time - we'd better do a great job!"

As a founding principal of MSKTD, Jim has designed or been on the team for many of our projects, large and small. His interest has always been in providing design services for a variety of project types – making people’s experiences with the places they live, work and play positively affected by architecture.

From 2007-2018, Jim served as President and Treasurer of MSKTD. In addition to being a working Architect, his most important responsibility has been maintaining an attitude, culture, and atmosphere for both offices so that our people have the right motivation and tools to perform their best.

What Jim enjoys most is working with people – both in our office, in our community and with our customers. At any one time, he is actively involved in several community and non-profit organizations. He served on the founding board of Mad Anthony’s Children’s Hope Hospitality House, helping them bring their dreams to fruition.
