With the new conference center addition, the entire Coliseum complex now boasts more than 1,000,000 s.f. of interior space, making it Indiana’s third largest indoor public venue. The $13.8 mil addition created an additional 62,500 s.f. of space, which includes a conference center, tasting kitchen, support space, and pre-function areas.
The elegant, world-class tasting kitchen allows for an entirely new experience. Guests can now watch as chefs prepare meal options right in front of them. Featuring a bar area, the tasting kitchen can also be used to host private parties. The location of the tasting kitchen allows for a seamless connection between the pre-function area into the main hall via large glass and wooden pivot doors.
Additionally, 13,890 s.f. of space was remodeled, including an existing white room, pre-function areas, and general circulation space. The project also included a complete renovation of existing kitchen and dish rooms, which tie into a support corridor on the West side of the building for expanded food service capabilities.
