Indiana University Health
Ball Memorial Hospital Cafeteria
Muncie, Indiana
This 15,000 SF renovation transformed an outdated and over-crowded space into an efficient modern café. The serving and seating areas were realigned for a more efficient traffic flow and aesthetic appeal. Additional key aspects of this project include:
- Contemporary and efficient lighting
- Earth tone tile flooring with glass tile wall accents
- Non-microbial seating and wall covering
- Efficient HVAC and new plumbing throughout
To minimize down time and maintain kitchen and dining operations, construction occurred over 3 primary phases. A major goal of the renovation was to incorporate a healthier dining experience for those who rely on the food and service offered by the Café Connection. Upon its completion, patients, guests and staff immediately recognized the improvements and began enjoying the newly refined space.
