Camp Red Cedar is a summer camp and year-round therapeutic and conventional horseback riding facility for children and adults of all abilities. In 2018, Camp Red Cedar invested $4 million to expand their campus to include a new state-of-the-art event center, The Lodge at Camp Red Cedar.
MSKTD designed this new facility as the centerpiece of the beautiful 57-acre camp. Overlooking the woods and a 10-acre lake, this unique event center includes a flexible activity area, administrative offices, accessible restrooms and parking, a large catering prep kitchen, indoor/outdoor fireplaces, and a welcoming covered front porch.
During summer camp weeks, it’s a place for campers to eat, do crafts, hang with friends, and just relax after a day of horseback riding, swimming, canoeing and just being out in nature. Year-round, It is also a state-of-the-art event rental space that hosts weddings, parties, fundraisers, and corporate events.
The design of The Lodge at Camp Red Cedar serves as a warm and inviting event space with state-of-the-art amenities in a picturesque setting, surrounded by wooded meadows and water. All proceeds made from event rentals support Camp Red Cedar’s mission and go directly to the cost of keeping camps and therapeutic riding affordable and accessible for campers and riders.
