At 11:00 AM today, Indiana University dedicated their new IUPUI residence hall- North Hall. This 172,000 square-foot facility is the first new traditional residence hall since the campus was formed in 1969. MSKTD is the Architect of Record for the 2-tower complex which houses 700 students in an urban setting.

While the primary function is providing students with single and double-occupancy room accommodations, today’s collegians expect much more. North Hall features many amenities including a grand lobby area with a kitchenette and break-room, micro-lounges spread throughout each floor, a computer room, fitness room, laundry facility, large programming area and two classrooms. Exterior spaces are nicely landscaped creating additional social and gathering spaces for students as well. This new residence hall is a huge success for Indiana University and the IUPUI Campus in downtown Indianapolis!
