STUDENT ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS CENTER

The IU Kokomo Campus has embraced the new Student Activities and Events Center. The 26,000 square-foot facility supports both campus and community needs. The multi-functional building accommodates programming in health, wellness, physical education, recreation, and athletics while also providing a vibrant space for general assemblies and events. With its limestone panels, the beautiful and highly functional facility provides a natural cohesiveness with the existing campus buildings. Transparent glass enhances the lobby daylighting and offers striking views of the campus.
The single level structure features a three-story gymnasium/assembly space while also accommodating athletic offices, athletic training and locker rooms, large lobby/reception area, classroom/meeting room, and a ticket office with concessions. With a 1,000-seat capacity, this event center is a welcomed new amenity for Indiana University and the Kokomo community.
