Meredith South Residence Hall
West Lafayette, IN
Meredith South Residence Hall caters to the Purdue freshman student, helping them make a successful transition to university life. Academic living-learning spaces promote education, discovery and exploration, while building a connected residential community. This style of housing allows students to live, collaborate and study with peers who are pursuing the same courses of study. Meredith South was designed as an all-female, STEM-focused student living facility and is the new home for the Women in Engineering, Women in Technology, Women in Science and Women in Agriculture Learning Communities.
Meredith South Residence Hall South houses 730 beds with a mix of triple, double and single-occupancy rooms arranged around a centralized bathroom and lounge area. Large expanses of glass at the ground floor create strong interior-exterior connections throughout the building.

One Project – Two Residence Halls
Meredith South and Griffin North Residence Halls are uniquely different, yet they were delivered as one large complex project using the P3 method of delivery. The entire project was designed and constructed in less than 24 months, providing 1300 students a new home while at Purdue University. This project was a success due to a highly coordinated effort within an intricate team structure.
