  • Bachelor of Interior Design degree from a CIDA accredited interior design program, with 3-5 years of experience
  • Licensed professional is preferred (or the desire to become licensed within an agreed-upon timeline)
  • Proven experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects; commercial experience is preferred
  • Advanced design, visual, and graphic presentation skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with time management skills
  • Capable of public speaking with strong presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Able to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Revit, Enscape, SketchUp, Photoshop, Office365, and Bluebeam
  • Knowledgeable and experienced with building codes, standards, and accessibility guidelines
  • Able to be nimble and to quickly adapt to client changes
  • Knowledgeable of furniture, finishes, and materials
  • Professional, with a commitment to delivering high-quality design solutions



  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints
  • Engage with design teams from inception of a project through completion, including conceptual design, presentations, design development, construction documents, specifications, and construction administration
  • Provide support to Senior Interior Designer
  • Assist electrical engineers and lighting designers with specialty lighting selections
  • Coordinate with design teams to ensure building systems are considered and documented appropriately
  • Develop FF&E selection, materials selection, color palettes, presentations, and generate specifications
  • Assist in managing client expectations, team communications, and consultant coordination
  • Oversee the installation and implementation of construction documents, ensuring quality and adherence to design intent
  • To be consistent with industry certification requirements, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Interior Designer as you make progress towards NCIDQ Certification, if you do not already have it
