The Franciscan Health Orthopedic Hospital of Carmel Campus is dedicated to orthopedic specialty care, sports medicine and high performance results for all patients including collegiate and professional athletes.
This healthcare campus supports the orthopedic programs from Franciscan Health and Forte Sports Medicine. Consisting of a 4-story hospital, a medical office building, multi-sport performance evaluation field, and a parking garage with an enclosed pedestrian bridge; this signature, specialty healthcare campus will soon become a destination for those seeking excellence in orthopedics and sports medicine. MSKTD is proud to have led the design team for this campus. Sustainable and enduring materials were used throughout the complex and are reflective of the innovative, patient-centered care everyone receives at this facility.
The Orthopedic Hospital of Carmel is an exceptional medical complex. One of the special aspects of the campus is the 5,500 square-feet dedicated to research and investigation. The Research Center enables first-hand inquiries to be completed on-site with the results more quickly benefiting patients through improved solutions. The on-premises multi-sport performance evaluation field is another distinctive department. Doctors, sports medicine specialists and athletic trainers are able to work with patients and observe improvement in body mechanics and performance without leaving the site. These two features at the complex are truly unique and greatly benefit the patients. Other departments include imaging, acute injury and primary care, outpatient rehab, inpatient/outpatient surgery, inpatient nursing unit, pharmacy, lab, and physician clinic round out the medical units.
